CULTURE WARS---POPTIMISM
are a post-punk duo from 'Montoro Inferiore',
a village not too far from Naples in Italy.
A bit less of the Milan type aggressive punk sound and leaning more towards an indie punk style.
Check out their album from a Mediafire_-_Link which you can find on their
Bandcamp page below.

Spoken Vocal Mix

Unlike the  Emo Type Vocals Mix , which fairly obviously is intended to address a person
on the EMOtional level,
spoken vocals, speak to us on a different level.
Since the band Slint popularised the semi-narrative style of delivery, others have continued the tradition.
[Be sure to hit up the Six Horse, and Staynless, links]
The 1st track up by Okara, for example, sound's extremely Slint-like.
Perhaps not as popular nowadays as a style of getting across a message,
nevertheless,
 'Helms',
'Green concorde'
 'Tambersauro', and
'STNNNG',
are still addressing the listener on the Intellectual level.
Happy Listening-----
