Somewhere to the South of  EMO-Stahn and off the coast of Spoken Vocal land is

      "Van Pelt Island."
Those group's that have a vocal style that swing's between the intimacy of spoken and the intensity

Sometimes I come across tracks like the one's below and a certain style has been captured.
A nostalgic feel for the 1920's, and a less complicated life.

Macaco Bong

Macaco Bong hail from Cuiaba in the Mato Grosso area of central Brazil.

Bruno, Ynaia and Gabriel play an instrumental kind of rock that's described as pulsating and Hypnotic. 

Lot's of style and enough experience to hold down a long jam is the vibe I get from Macaco Bong,
