While most of the Math I listen to comes up on Random Play, The Joe K Plan is one of the few bands that cause me to switch off the random function; go back to track one , and play the entire Album.

This week sees a slightly more Post Rock feel, with Music built around the use of Samples from Film and TV, a very powerful sound if done properly. (Check out the 2nd Microfilm Link to a Live Vid)

Secret Camera, by Microfilm, is taken from the 60's Sci-Fi film Doppleganger about an expedition to an unknown planet on the exact opposite side of the Sun. The rocket crashes and the survivor finds himself on an earth that only he knows is an exact twin.

Anybody who would like also the legendary, live recording,
that became the The Baby Grandmothers self titled,
Grab it while its fresh.
(1968 swedish psychedelic jammers; this is a truly timeless piece of music,
like some lost Gratefull dead album--or better!!)

French Math Rock mix.

 A small collection of french Math for your edification,
Room 204 is pretty essential, and have a style perhaps just a cut above the better known
 Chevreuil who's 'Chateauvallon' you may have heard of.
Compared to the 'Italian' Math rockers, the french tend more towards a sedater pace and
a post rock feel.
Plenty of bands not featured, the noisy and dynamic
 Pneu--(highway to health-plentyofswords) for example,
as well as Keiko Tsuda,with the below included Looking for Johnny G,
 but I can always fit them and others on a future Mix.
